How ScholarshipFit calculates scholarship fit

ScholarshipFit helps students avoid wasting time on scholarships that do not fit their profile by turning eligibility rules, budget fit, deadlines, and official source data into a structured planning signal.

What ScholarshipFit Checks

ScholarshipFit compares a student profile with visible scholarship fields: degree level, major field, nationality rules, GPA, English scores, standardized tests, budget, deadline, required documents, and official source links.

How Admission Fit Score Works

Admission Fit estimates whether the academic profile appears aligned with listed academic requirements such as degree level, major field, GPA, English score, and SAT, ACT, or GRE minimums when those fields are available.

How Scholarship Fit Score Works

Scholarship Fit weighs scholarship-specific eligibility rules, nationality fit, country preference, deadline status, budget fit, and missing requirements. Closed deadlines and core eligibility mismatches reduce the score.

How Budget Fit Works

Budget Fit compares the submitted annual budget with the listed estimated annual cost after scholarship. Strong means the budget covers the listed estimate, Medium means it may be workable, and Weak means the listed cost appears above budget.

How Application Waste Risk Works

Application Waste Risk highlights whether an opportunity is likely worth the student's time. Low risk means eligibility, budget, deadline, and missing requirement signals look workable. High risk means a core rule, budget, deadline, or important requirement is a problem.

What Verified Means

Verified means a scholarship record has an official source URL, application link, last checked date, deadline logic without conflict, and basic eligibility rules completed from official university or scholarship sources.

What Needs Review Means

Needs Review means the record can still be useful for exploration, but ScholarshipFit has not completed every verification requirement. Students should be extra careful and confirm details on the official source before applying.
